Not the ‘comparing’ kind but a green computer security kind. Typically, PCs are switched on for much longer than they are needed – when employees go to meetings, go to lunch, etc. MeerCat is a simple device that recognises when the PC user is no longer in the vicinity and puts the computer into security mode (so no-one else can access confidential data) and also puts the computer into energy saving mode (so it saves on energy bills and CO2 emissions).
Users can see at a glance how much energy and CO2 they are saving when they use the MeerCat – so the benefits are very easily trackable. Click MeerCat from 24/7 Uptime to find out more.
