24/7 Uptime promotes the Manchester Midnight Walk across the airwaves
Well, perhaps a slightly select band of airwaves. But we were interviewed on Tameside Radio 103.6FM this afternoon about taking part in the Manchester Midnight Walk and it was all very exciting.
We explained how we got involved in the walk and that we were aiming for £247 as our fund raising target. Not an earth shattering figure perhaps but every little helps. We also explained we had received some great donations of £24.70, (fitting in with our 24/7 Uptime theme). The interviewer then asked us if anyone had donated £2.47 yet – so we suggested that all his radio listeners might like to do that via www.justgiving.com/247uptime!
Fortunately for us (and their listeners!), the interview was pre-recorded so they can edit as they see fit. But we understand it will be aired around Friday lunch time – on the day we do the walk itself – so we will have our ears firmly pressed against the radio so we don’t miss it!
