12 June 2009 will see Chris Robinson and Tracy Barlow of 24/7 Uptime taking
part in the 10K Manchester Midnight Walk in aid of St Ann's Hospice. Together with other members of the Manchester Business
Network, they are raising funds for the hospice as thanks for caring for
a fellow Network member earlier this year.
Marketing Director, Tracy Barlow, explains: "We had just
launched 24/7 Uptime when we decided to talk part in
the walk - so set a target of £247. We would have preferred to
raise £2,470 but appreciate times are a little tight! However,
people have been very generous and entered into the spirit of things,
with some donating £24.70. As a result, we have almost
reached our target but are keen to receive more donations -
every pound donated will encourage us to pound the pavements of
Manchester."
